Hello! My name is Mrs. Morgan. I am the Guidance Counselor, Enrichment Teacher, and Gifted and Talented Advisor here at Elmer School. I see every class twice a week throughout the year. At the beginning and end of the year I will be teaching counseling lessons on topics such as personal safety, teasing and bullying, friendship, identifying emotions, and career counseling. In the middle of the year I will be teaching Enrichment to the classes, working on teaching reading and comprehension skills and a love of reading through books, and also teaching Sign Language to K-2.
Additionally, I try and meet with all the kids individually at least once through the school year. If you think your child would benefit by meeting with me one on one on a regular basis, please just let me know. - I graduated from University of Delaware in 1997 with degrees in Physical and Health Education and in Athletic Training. I then taught at Newark HS in Delaware for 5 years while also working on my master's degree in School Counseling. I am married to an elementary school teacher and live in Woodstown. We have one daughter, Elizabeth, and are expecting a second child in March. In my spare time I can often be found coaching or playing soccer, or curled up with a good book.
